Charlie and the Chocolate Factory opens Friday, August 7!
Spotlight Players invites audiences of all ages to experience the wonder, imagination, and unforgettable music of Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory when the Broadway musical opens Friday, August 7, for a limited six-performance engagement.
Based on Roald Dahl's beloved novel, the musical follows young Charlie Bucket as he embarks on the adventure of a lifetime after discovering a coveted Golden Ticket, earning a once-in-a-lifetime tour of Willy Wonka's mysterious chocolate factory. Along the way, audiences will encounter colorful characters, dazzling musical numbers, inventive stagecraft, and a timeless story celebrating kindness, imagination, and the rewards of staying true to oneself.
Co-directed by Christine deSimas and Sophia deSimas, the production features a cast of performers ranging from young newcomers to longtime Spotlight Players veterans, supported by a dedicated team of musicians, designers, technicians, and volunteers who have spent months bringing Wonka's extraordinary world to life.
